To Nourish is to Love

Somewhere along the way, we overcomplicated our diets. Eating became separated from nourishing. We believe that the way to better health (and boundless energy) is by consuming a diet mostly comprised of whole, seasonal foods. Which kinds depend on you—everybody’s a little different—and that’s where we come in. Our registered dietician provides coaching that aims, ultimately, to restore the foundation of a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.

Our Approach

reBalance is our signature program. It’s a 15-day regimen that focuses on reducing inflammation that’s resulted from years of eating a diet a little too rich in processed stuff. About two weeks—that’s all it takes to see and feel the difference in doing away with all the additives. We also provide ongoing counseling that addresses acute needs, like weight-loss and chronic conditions.

Food is fuel. Nothing revelatory there. But too many of us have learned to take that fact for granted. So much so that when we go searching for remedies for what ails us, we gloss right over it. But, a simple, balanced diet is that magical elixir.

Our Dietitian

Marissa is a Registered Dietitian accredited through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed through the state of Pennsylvania. She graduated from West Chester University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her Dietetic Internship with Priority Nutrition Care based out of Boston, Massachusetts. During this time, she covered sports nutrition, adolescent eating disorders, food allergies and intolerances, community nutrition education, food service and clinical medical nutrition therapy.

With over four years of nutrition counseling experience, Marissa’s approach is to focus on every client as an individual, each with their own needs, challenges and goals. She believes that it is important to be available and supportive during the time of any client’s life changing journey to a state of total health and well being. Marissa is also a fitness enthusiast and is passionate about combining effective exercising with healthy eating habits to achieve full body wellness.
